These traps require no bait. However, I have much better luck with these traps when using a tiny bit of peanut butter on the trip peddle. These traps work better than any metal trip pad trap.

Be careful when setting these traps.

I do not recommend using this rat trap anywhere that a child, pet or non target animal could come in contact with the set trap.
